Frontwoman Karly Hartzman calls it the spiritual successor to Rat Saw God—a sharpened, fully realised version of Wednesday’s identity. “This is what Wednesday songs are supposed to sound like,” she says. “We’ve spent our lives figuring that out—and I think we did.”
